Default Newbie In Need of Exhaust Help AT3030

Hey all! My name is Jim and this is my first post. I finally got the truck I wanted and its definatly in need of an exhaust to wake up that hemi I did some youtubing and i found that the AT3030 is what i like best and im going to use two of them for true duals. I would ultimately like to end up with something like this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EqiGJHK2ZI . However my question is any idea on how much this set up would cost installed and what piping is best? I assume 3 inch and where would i get it? This is all new to me so dont beat me to bad Oh yea i have a 2008 dodge ram 1500, electric blue. Leather, sunroof, big mirrors, hemi and the chromies.

Nice to meet you all and thanks in advance!

Jim

p.s. anyone else has any neat tricks let me know!

Welcome to the forum. I know oldirtyjon has the at3030 setup on his truck and swears by it as others on here do as well. It has also been suggested that you do an x or h pipe to maintain back-pressure when going with true duals if I'm not mistaken. Others will chime in. Also, we like pics so post up when you can.

Ive got something similar. Ive got Pacesetter long tubes, no cats, x pipe, dual cutouts and dual Magnaflows with tips and Ive got about 1100 in my exh. If you keep the stock manifolds and no cutouts then you could bring the price down a good bit. The best thing for you to do IMO is to take it to some exh shops in your area and get some quotes but buy your parts (like mufflers and tips) online.

You can let a muffler shop give you a price on the H pipe. I think I paid 25-30 for my X off ebay. I also have 4x24" tips so you can look at mine and see if you like them
