The new iPhone will be pepped up quite a bit, but compare it to the specs on other Android phones and it still lags. This is just Apple though. Look at their Macbooks. Compare the specs on those to most other Windows based laptops. They still lag. Yes, they can do more with less, but not that much.

As for the iPhone coming to other carriers, that has been shot down with Verizon claiming that they are not ready to carry any of Apple's mobile devices including the famed iPad....

Another thing to keep in mind is that AT&T just axed their "unlimited" data plan. For phone users, this will end up to be a good thing for many people, but if someone uses the same plan on a iPad device or something similar, then it's not good.

Never forget the fabled five year contract Apple supposedly has with AT&T.

Oh, and AT&T should be offering insurance on the iPhone for $4.00 more a month over what you could get through Best Buy.
