Default Need Tire advice

Well im planning to go out and get a new set of tires tomorrow. I want to go bigger with them. I have a torsion crank level in the truck and thats all thats different from stock.

35x12.50x17s would be nice but Im afraid of rub, and I dont want to have to regear.

33x12.50x17s, I dont have a problem with but I feel they would look a little small.

Is there a metric tire In between those two, that I could get?

Ive already decided on Cooper Discoverer STT's, and they are going back on the stock 17' sport wheels.

Thanks guys

Get 33's. 35's MIGHT fit, but you'll probably have some rubbing. 33's look better anyway and they're better on gas. This is a no-brainer

edit: oh and in case you decide to go with more lift, the 33's wont look too small until you're at 6" or higher of lift.

Agreed, 100%. 33s especially if using stock wheels.

I like the Cooper STT, it's basically a clone of the Toyo M/T and Nitto Trail Grappler. Should be a good performer...

Just a thought, you may need spacers for the front. I'm running like 11.5" wide and my uca is about 1/4" from the inside of my tire and I'm running factory rims myself. I got 295/70/17 which is 33 and change by 11.5 or so. That's the only thing I'd worry about unless you get spacers or aftermarket rims with some decent backspacing.
