That's right, I forgot that you had it too. What the hell, why did weed luck out while the rest of us have the misfit engines?

Sounds like a conspiracy.

Got the 02 nonfouler in, just in case -- didn't take that long -- and if i have/want to I can change it around pretty quick.

I reset the puter -- unplugged the battery for a little bit. Problem now is idle is off -- I'm just thinking it's relearning itself, but if it doesn't straighten up I'm going to take the nonfouler off and just run with the CEL.

Weed, did you say you got rid of the codes by using a programmer to not look at the 02 sensors or..? --

with the issues of the pass side, are you guys referring to the bolt alignment only or the bell housing tab that needs to be trimmed? I ask because while all my bolts did line up, I did have to trim the tab on the trans. I had a very small gap between them but trimmed it anyway. Everything else fit fine. I didnt have to massage anything.

9511234 - I am custom tuned by Diablo and through thier tuning I was able to have the CEL turned off for the cats. So I am using LTs with no cats, OEM O2's in place with no non-foulers and no CELs due to custom CMR (Diablo) tuning.

Bolt alignment. -- had to trim bell housing as well... but the bolt alignment is the big kicker.

Comes with 17 bolt holes, 9 on the pass. side. -- apparently it's a bigger problem than just my truck being able to line up correctly.

I actually forgot to put a bolt in that hole altogether -- everything was just handtight, so we tried to put that one in and no beans. Then, loosened everyone up but one bolt and tried to get it in. Never could get it to go in straight without causing all the other bolts to screw up, too.

I ran into the same exact thing. If I put all the other bolts in, even just hand tight, that one bolt just would not line up. Then if I got that one started nothing else came close to fitting in the holes. Cutting the slot in the flange actually ended up helping bc it let the bolt go in and it allowed me to start the bolt, then slide the header onto the bolt which held up that end while I started the rest of the bolts.

So the question is, why do some guys have no issues and other have the misalignment problem? What is different about our trucks?

It could be a bad batch of headers that were made. Mine were exceptionally bad, of the problems I had, the bolt alighnment was the least of my worries. The issue that made me a little pissed was the O2 bung on the passenger side header, it was to tall and in the wrong location so when I put the O2 in on that side it would not fit, it would have shoved the o2 through my floor board. Put a baseball sized dent in the floor board, and cut the bung in half basically to get it to "fit" without any obstructions.

Then the whole wheel spacer/alignment tab tab issue, if you guys have not checked it yet I would suggest it. When sitting on the ground the tab was gouging into my header and making a horrible sound while turning. Cut an inch or so off of it and all was good, luckily I caught it before it chipped the coating off in that area. After talking with some other people about it, Im not the onl person that had this issue, a couple guys with 04's had that same problem and one didn't catch it till about a month later after it had chipped and scratched his header in that location.

Again, I think I mainly blame these issues on quality control, if they would check the product a little more or have tighter tollerances they would probably be better. (I bet the guys that spend a grand on the "good" headers dont have these issues).

Hey weed is the tune for turning off the rear O2's just for diablo or does Superchips have one as well? Im trying to figure out which tuner to get DIABLO or SC?

Just Diablo and canned tunes will not do it. Only custom tuning will turn them off.

And with you having an 05 5.7 I would certainly go with DSP for PCM and TCM support even though SC has TCM support now also I think. That way you can move to custom tuning with the DSP which the SC does not give.
