programmer and electric fan questions
well judging by the octane, it was not a superchips unit, i know they have 87, 91, tow and econ for there options you can pick, im guessing sct or diablo probably, anyone know which in particular could chime in to let ya know or just google them, i dont have time right now to, anyways as for electric fans, i just did like i did with my old chevy k10, i hit my performance parts place known as Summit Racing and grabbed a flex a lite electric fan kit, i cant seem to find the kit on there anymore, but this is the fan from the kit i have http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-320718/
it works great with the stock shroud, and pulls tons of air, you can do anything you want really, run the thermostat at whatever temp you want, run in parallel a switch in the cab so you can turn it on early if you know you will need the extra cooling before it gets to operating temp, not to mention it does free up power removing the stock mechanical fan, not huge gains, but every pony to the ground is more efficiency and a little increase in that will help with those ever so low mpg's too!!

i think it was a diablo. i want to get one with a dash mounted screen for real time data. mainly because im going to be moving form alaska to colorado and ill be hakling a trailer, so i want to be able to monitor tranny temp
Then you want the Diablo Trinity. Thats what I have and I LOVE it. I will not go back to a Diablo predator.
