Default Sirius Issues

So i called Sirius on Sunday to get my sat radio activated for an up coming road trip. After 20 min on the phone with the non English speaking rep, I get the radio activated.

So I am scanning through the stations and setting some presets and all is working well. Then after a couple minutes i decide I want to go back to ch 103. Well i set that as a preset so i just punch the button and it goes to ch 184 (the activation channel). Turns out that now I am missing random channels most notably everything between 95 and 105. So I figured that it just needed time to update and figure out what was going on. I was still missing channels yesterday, so I call again to get it resolved and talk with another non English speaking rep. Well after 30 min I now have the stations between 95 and 105, but everything between 13 and 21 are gone.

Has anyone had similar issues when activating their Sirius? I have the REF single disk stock HU and didn't realize it would be this big of an ordeal to get this activated. Is there something specific that I need to tell the customer support people so that I get all of the stations that I am supposed to get?

Sirius rep told me they were having problems with Dodge Rams - I was missing about 10 channels. After 2 reboots, no change. Let the service expire.

call back and talk to a sup. Sounds like an error with the programming.
Ask for a credit.

Hmmm, Havent noticed mine acting up but I almost always listen to BB King's bluesville channel #74. I'll have to check to make sure all the other stations are there.

What package do you have from them? My uncle has the family friendly package and is missing a bunch of the channels that I had, like howard and the comedy channels and some others. If you have Sirius Everything, then you are missing channels that you should have.

module should be up under the glove box.. disconnect power from it and let it sit for a few minutes then reconnect.. should fix the issue if not probably a defective sirius module. All sat radio products are cheap as hell and never seem to last but the content on sat radio is like crack it's so amazing

Yeah keep calling until you get them all back.

Sirius "when it works" is awesome. Like the OP mention they have horrible english speaking reps that talk way too fast which make you fail to hear there is an automatic withdrawal before the subscription is up. Which by the way when you catch it the next day they still charge a $15 early cancellation fee to your credit card.. Kinda sad if you ask me.

well I called again last night and talked with them. According to them their entire tech support consists of pushing the rest/resend activation button, and thats it. After another failed attempt to acquire the missing channels I hung up and decided to try resending the signal myself by logging into my online account. After resending the signal and WAITING ~10 min before changing the channel I had everything that I was supposed to. Previously they had sent the signal and then told me to try changing the channel with in a min or two. I am guessing just letting it sit and think before changing channels resolved the issue.

Hopefully I don't have any more issues and don't have to call them ever again.
