Switch
Some people took notice that I had a switch mounted on my rear receiver hitch, opposite the valve for my air bags when I posted a pic in an air bag thread.
I answered it there, but I guess some people didn't see it as I've gotten a couple PMs regarding it.
It's for these:

Those of you who fish at night, especially from the bank or using a small non-trailered boat will recognize the need for 'em...

Thanks... I just like to tinker. Since I'm in Florida for a while caring for my mom who's just had another surgery, I don't have any money coming in and have a ton of time on my hands.
So anytime I can grab my welder and do a cheap little project that's functional, doesn't look TOO bad and takes up a day I'd otherwise be sitting around the house bored, it's a good day...

I thought about mounting under the bumper, but for when I use them there is no reason for me to clutter things up with a permanent mount. I keep this setup in my tool box and just slide my Ram Head brake light out and these in when I need them.
I made basically the same setup for the front of my Jeep, also slides in the receiver hitch, but is wider to accommodate larger lights, again completely portable, so I can swap between it and the winch whenever I need to:
Great Idea, very nice, especially the alum plate mount on the jeep. I understand the fishing and boating wanting to see at night but you guys have gators down there right and in the dark that would make me flinch, alls we got up here are rattlers and coyotes.
