Yeah...pricey they are, but I figured I am only buying one set and the regulars already cost $70 or so. So I figured spend a little more to get what i really want.

It seems as though their might be a slight color to the glass but if you look closely at the following pic you can see some kind of structure in side the housing...it sort of looks like a fan grill. This is what provides the majority of the black out effect, but once you turn them on you can't even tell that its there.
