Hey guys ive got a problem with my ram. It will surge RPM up about 300 at idle. Also when I first start the truck it will rev up to 2000 then roughly make its way down to about 6-800 where it idles. Then it will start surging again. I also started having this problem on the highway the other day. It revs at about 1600 rpm at 100 kmph and it started surging up to 2000 and back constantly. I have tryed 2 new TPS sensors and my problem is still there. The new one even made it run worse at idle, but it stopped the surging at highway speeds. I need some advice please!

this could be a bad pickup coil or crank sensor. your best bet is to search 2nd gen ram for surging... tons of great info over there for the 5.9

also what plugs are you using? have you checked the plenum? TB ports might be clogged up.
