the hood lol. ive got no money for fiberglass right now.. i just spent 200 bucks on an amp

ima wait till i am employed before i jump on the hood train..
still have the fiberglass mold in the garage waiting though!

i wasnt planning on lime green
like the viper green (snake skin) would be pretty sick
yes hemiguy, deffinatly something metallic

what kind of prep work was used?
looks like the bezel wouldnt stick very well.. aka hard to sand inside the little holes.

also how did you pop everything out?
or did you just paint inside the truck

Everything pops out a different way but its pretty easy.

Sand
Filler Primer
Etching Primer
Paint
Clear

my drivers side control panel is already busted from the dude before me...

BAM!
Etching primer is for metal, and if you paint plastic you want to use a good adhesion promoter (bullydog), which could take the place of primer unless you leave some sanding marks, which could be filled with the filler primer

And remember plastic parts are made in a mold. They have a mold release agent that is on the outside, so its always a good idea to rub it with a wax/grease remover (or even better, a mold release remover)

Yeah my driver side control panel is busted as well.

Just take your time and dont break anything. My friend wast trying to go to fast and he broke his dome light lol.

The door switches just pop up
the overhead console has 2 screws under the light bulbs i think?
and the dome light pops open from one side.

The center console is pretty easy i just taped off the parts i didnt want to paint.
