ok so i have a 2005 ram 1500 qc hemi

about a week ago the little control panel on the driver door(where the window controls and locks are) popped out...it still fit in the slot but its like it was sat in there with an adhesive and it broke through...i didnt worry about it at the time, but 2 days ago my windows quit working...but heres the thing, if you pull the panel out of the slot all the buttons work, all 4 doors, however if you sit the panel in the slot, none of window or lock buttons work, nor do the controls on the other 3 doors...

any ideas as to what is goin on?
any advice is much appreciated...thanks

 

take the door panel off and check for loose connections,
