FACK!! I walk out just now and my rear window is completely shattered!! it didnt fall out or anything, just completely cracked all over! i cant tell if someone tried to break in but i dont think so cuz they didnt go through the window, or maybe the alarm scared them... idk

anyone heard of this just randomly happening? ill get pics in an hour

 

I got yanked one time slammed my door and the back window shattered? LOL Sorry man to hear this

 

First, the window is safety glass. It wont chip or "birds eye" like a windshield. Whether hit with a small ball-peen hammer in the corner, or a cinder block thrown through the center, the entire piece of glass will shatter into small roundish pieces that are less likely to cut (skin).

And Ive never heard of one breaking under stress. The rubber grommet isolates the glass from the window frame, and would absorb any flex or expansion...99.99% sure something hit it.

hmm I was driving behind my buddy on a dirt road and a rock from my tire shattered his back window, and it was a bumpy road so the next bump made the whole thing fall

 

I wish this would happen to mine, then I'd have an excuse to get the heated one...
