When I bought my truck the windshield had been replaced at some point.. When it rains really hard a few drips of water will come down on the inside of the windshield. There is no rubber molding around the window but would a silicone around the top part be ok?
Also, I went mudding in some pretty watery mud..and after about 45 min of mudding i noticed a little bit of the brown junk on my passenger side door molding. (right by the "infinity" plastic cap) The door shuts fine and doesnt seem to have any problems but i don;t know how it got in there since it didn't come inside the window on the passenger side...any ideas?

My mechanic swears by using silicone to fix things like that, you can purchase silicone online at xiameter
weather striping doesnt haven to be cracked to be bad... but simple just squashed more or less just weak and doesnt create a positive seal. Its common on older vehicles Especially if ppl have a tendency to slam doors.
