tailgate issue!!

Yea there are tons of tailgates on craigslist here...I guess all these people with 5th wheels

I have a spot where my tailgate was dropped and a screw was on the bumper...ahh!

Go to the junkyard if you can't fix the one you got. There might be one there, but you are probably better off just fixing what you got.

My thinking the same way, jy 's have very little wiggle room lately. I have yet too get a good deal at a junkyard. Since at least 1999. They cost as much as other outreaches. I'm gonna work on this one . thanks teach.

paint less dent removal FTW. Did it crease the metal?

That is a good idea. I have heard a lot of good things about paintless.

They are amazing. Not even that expensive and the stuff they can get out is pretty impressive.

Where exactly is it, Rocket? If it's below the crease line that's about 3 or 4" up from the bottom and it were me, I'd cut me a strip of nice, shiny diamond plate and 3m tape it all the way across the bottom. In my particular case it would match the diamond plate on top of my tailgate and I'd play it off as a mod... LMAO!!!

Yep right above the crease line. Sits there like a ball on the water. I thought I saw the plastic stuff on sale at lowe's I'm thinking along these lines. What the hell is paintless ftw. where, who, what??

FTW = for the win. Painless dent removal uses special dollies, rollers and techniques to pop dents without having to repaint a panel. Provided your dent is not that bad this would be the way to go. See if you can find a place that does paintless in your area.
