Hey guys I have a 2004 4x4 quad cab 4.7l 5 speed manual transmission truck. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the actual horsepower and torque gains i would get out of a programmer like one of the superchips. I also have a volent cold air intake on the truck. thanks

 

Superchips JUST started tuning 4.7s so something like that would likely best be answered on thier forums where you could PM a mod and ask for actual spec sheets and dyno results.

hey weed what size exhaust you have behind your headers? i just put a set of shortys on and i want to let my little "rat" motor breathe better? a friend of mine says i need to can my 70 flowmaster but i think i sorta want to go retro-old-school and get a couple glass packs or cherry bombs--what on your brain ? thanks for your thoughts!

 

my s/c 3865 woke up my 4.7l and they have been tuning them longer than most think...but we all just got the advance trans tune but that really wouldnt do you any good cause you can shift when you want to...but def intake, s/c, exhaust, powerwire and even gears will really wake up the beast inside come over to the 287 crew we go many ideas and helpful hints on that 4.7l the link is in my sig....
