Default Header bolts broken

So I started hearing this faint sound the other day, kinda like a baseball card pinned to a wheel spoke on a bicycle. I took it to my mechanic and he told me that there is a recall for the bolts/gasket that attach the headers to the block. he also said Dodge had a back order of 220,000 new bolts and the cost to fix would be like $400. Am I better off spending money on a new set of headers while I'm in the process? Do performance headers come with the bolts/gaskets??

For $400 you can get a nice set of headers instead of the OEM junk. They should come with the gaskets but the mopar ones are the best. For the bolts, just get yourself a set of Stage 8's and call it a day. Moes sells them fairly cheap.

I havent heard or any recall and I have AllData. You should go get some Grade 8 bolts from Lowes or a hardware store and some new gaskets. When I bought some Grade 8's for my headers they were like $5-6 from a local hardware store and the gaskets werent very much from Hensons.
