Default 2004 o2 sensor

hi everyone. i got an cel for the o2 sensors downstream. so i ordered the sensors when they came they were completely different than whats in the truck. i pulled out all four sensors to check them and it seams that the upstream sensors are the same and the down stream sensors are the same. according to the internet the sensors that were shipped to me are correct per the info on them but whats in the truck is different. i did check the 05 listing and it shows that the o2 sensors are configured like i have them. has anyone ever had this situatiuon. or can lend any advice to help. the check engine light keeps coming on and off and im tired of looking at it. thanks

Upstream should be different from the downstream. What's different about the ones you got? Pictures? The new ones I got from oreilly's were a little different. Sensor bulb, at the end is round instead of being square, and it was a little longer. Work fine though.

one of the sensors they sent me was all wrong. long wire over 20 in. the lenght of the sensor itself was also to long. it turns out that the sensor was listed incorrectly. downstream sensors should be both the same bosch part #15506. the woman i spoke with from the company called bosch and they told here that the other sensor was right but that there was problems with it and that i should use 2 15506 downstream. the part #'s for 04 to 05 are different too, you would think the would be the same since the drivetrain is the same.

Yeah that's wierd. I figured out yesterday my truck only likes the OEM O2 sensors. They universal ones that all the auto parts stores sell give me a high circuit fault code. She's all good to go now!

the bosch sensors are the best in my opinion thats why i wanted to use them. i was against using universals. i sent the one sensor back, there going to send me another 15506 for the other side...
