Hey, I like chrome as well, but the whole truck is black including now the rims. IMO, it would just look a little better with the center caps black.

You been to the meat market today Hammer and get number 105 again?

Nope, but I did have a few at the golf course AFTER I made the post...

I'm just kinda getting a little bored with all the "make everything black" stuff. Granted I really like the look of some of the trucks with black, and chrome has gotten a bad rap, deservedly so IMO when EVERYBODY started doing cheap, flimsy plastic parts with lousy plastisized chrome.

But I also think black for the sake of black doesn't always look good to me. Some of these trucks look like they got a primer painted bumper and grille and look like cheap crap IMO, no better than the lousy chrome plating from the factory.

Both ways can be outstanding, IF DONE RIGHT!!!

Personally, I like stainless and have always been a diamond plate fanatic, whether it be shiny or black...

im not a fan of white walls or white letters on these trucks...ever. I do like the chrome center caps though. And I agree with hammer. There is too much "paint it black" goin on. I never jumped on the plasti-dip bandwagon and have actually be an advocate against the stuff since day 1 because i think it looks like crap.

I dunno AF, I think everything has it's place. It's just a lot of people are going over the top. I am not a fan of white walls either per say, but on certain vintage cars, the car just doesn't look right without them.
As for the Plasti-Dip, it will NEVER go anywhere near my truck, but on my Grand Cherokee, I painted all the cheazy factory gray plastic cladding with it and I think it really came out nice...

I like how the white letters set it off. Have you ever let somebody else drive your truck, and when you look at it you realize how badass it really is?

It looks really cool doin like 15-20 mph with the white letters. It reminds me of a race car pullin into a pit stop.
