Default Front Drive shaft

I went under my truck today to clean all the grass an what not from mudin... but i noticed that where the pumpkin and the drive shaft meet, there is a lot of grease/water coming out and down my pumpkin. does that mean my drive shaft is going bad? or i need to change the gear oil in my front pumpkin... this on a 2006 Dodge mega cab 4x4
