My old radio was doing the same thing expect it was drawing a much larger load, anywhere between 2.5 and 3.5 amps. After spending a weekend isolating everything, I finally removed the radio and the draw disappeared. Put in a new radio and havent had the problem since.

Actually, my radio was fine... It was a fuse that was supposed to be for an amp in the premium audio system which I dont have, I just removed it. So I don't know what was going on with those wires behind the scenes, if they messed up or what. Possibly someone before me rigged something together on that circuit that they took out of the truck, who knows.

Alls I know is removing that fuse for me solved the problem and everything in my truck seems to operate perfectly.

Default fusebox module is to blame for battery drain.

Hello,
i have a 2010 dodge ram HD 4x4 crewcab gas. took box out and apart found board burnt. they are expensive.. 426 . they are remanufacturing these because they have issues . they want 75.00 for core. ordered will be getting soon. do not know if i need to have it flashed? apparently these should be recalled but hey .. why not stick it to your best customers ? the one that buys your problems.

many posts on trying to find the drain over night. i pulled cover smelled it burnt and removed all fuses, pulled all plugs. benched it and took it apart. it all comes apart with clips especially three by side plugs. 675 dollars from local dealer. not happy.
good luck with your battery drains..

lol Dodge has the Infinity Stereo system option... they've had it since the mid 90's... And it's one of the best OEM Premium systems out there other than Bose, and the ultra-high end Luxury car brands...

To the OP, Welcome to Dodge Forum and Glad you found the problem.
