Hey everyone, awesome forum you guys have, couldnt resist joining, Im already learning tons about my 2005 ram hemi 4x4. One thing I do need insight on is spark plugs, I bought the truck with 115000kms on it and it has bosch plat 4's. Truck now has 140000kms and a little spark knock, Any suggestions. Thanks

first thing is welcome to the sight , second the hemi does not run right on plat plugs 90% of the time . change them over to champion copper plugs the OEM kind . you will see a difference and they are half the price of plats . all 16 for 40 bucks round about .

yup, hemis take regular copper cores, which is nice cause they are cheaper and they take 16 plugs 1 for combustion and 1 for pre exhaust. and are recommended every 30,000 miles.

Welcome,the others are right,stick with stock style plugs,if you aren't handy find a good independant shop to swap 'em out for you,they can be a biotch for the novice shade tree mechanic.

Welcome, Get the copper plugs. It's a good learning experience if ya do it yourself. Just gatta be patience.
