Angry Moe's Performance... Questions...

I placed an order with Moe's on the 12th and have had absolutely no correspondence from them aside from the first confirmation email. (no product either) I've read lots of good things about them here, so before I officially get on my "I hate Moe's" bandwagon, is there something I should be aware of? Are they closed for some kind of holiday or something? Is it just one guy that runs it and he's out of town? What gives? I've even left messages on their voicemail. No luck.

Scott

I have heard that he takes a little while to ship items. yes, from what i understand he used to be a one man band, but I'm sure he's got helpers by now???
Eitherway, he has good service and good prices but the shipping takes a little bit from what i have heard.

Your stuff could even be on their way in shipping. if he hasn't got back to you, that just may be the case?? I'd give it a few days and if you hear/see nothing then start jumping on the bandwagon.

BTW, what did you buy? don't hold out on us..lol

Gotcha... like I said, not wanting to bash anyone... just wanna make sure I didn't get taken.

I ordered a Hellwig rear sway bar and the McGaughy's 2" drop shackles. I already have the OL spring taken out, so that should level it out just right.

They're sometimes slow. I suspect they get slammed and have to dig their way out. They're stand-up folks, though.

Good mods, Bob and his wife pretty much run the show. He drop ships a lot of his stuff and gets left out to dry by his shippers. He is indeed a stand up guy in my book. He responds best to email but you can also reach him by phone sometimes...

I had the same issue when I ordered gears....their supplier was out of them, but they did not let me know. I did get the stuff eventually, but their communication does kind of suck. I have not ordered anything since then.

A lot of products he carries he'll never actually see. He plays the role of middle man. Unfortunately, when the manufacturer is slow on shipping, it reflects poorly on him even though he has no control over it. I suspect thats whats happening here. I waited 4 weeks for my JetHot coated headers to come from JetHot. Even though it wasnt his fault at all, he still paid to bump me up to the hottest coating JetHot offers free of charge. Now THATS customer service. Just be patient with him as hard as that is. He's got a good rep for a reason.

^ What Af_Hemi said. Most of the parts are shipped from the manufacturer, not him.

Can be slow at times and because a lot of things ship direct and he never sees them there can be issues like things not in the box, etc. But Bob has always bent over backwards to make sure everything was right in the end.

Don't worry, you didn't make a mistake buying from Moe's...
