edit: ok nevermind lol. I finished reading through the thread and theres a couple things i dont like

1) You have to send in the stock VB to get it reworked. That wont work for me. I need a same day swap
2) Great initial results, but as the TCM learns the new VB, the effect wears off slightly to only "slightly better than the transgo"
3) The issue of running 4.56, TC, and VB causing tranny failures for a couple guys has me scared away. Not worth the risk
4) I MUST stop spending so much money on this truck!!! haha
I read Moe's(?) $450 VB outright no core charge. or $825 which includes a $500 core charge that is refundable. Meaning the VB is $325 plus shipping the VB back.

Maroi,
I agree with your previous post about using the Transgo kit, after all the Sharadon VB is based on the Trango shift kit. If you had it to do again would you go with the stage III or stage II?

I got mine at a good price so i jumped on it but i know that folks with a early 04 build year like mine noticed no difference than stock so i was aware of what i am getting into.
But if am going to buy new at that price i would try the Transgo first to see how your trucks responds to it. If there is no difference then again you saved a lot of money towards another mod. Good mod around the same price or cheaper would be a SFI U/D pulley. Meant to be like a e-fan x 2. I am getting one soon since i am pretty sure i have the weak toner rings and also to spin faster with my next cam.

Looked it up. Is the Performance kit compatiable with the Transgo kit? Or do you use one or the other?

I am always so hesitant when it comes to doing things to my transmission, I looked into the VB and saw that sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't, looked into the transgo kits and again sometimes they worked sometimes they didn't and sometimes they can royally screw your trans... I think Im gonna call it good with trans options for now and work on the engine a bit more. That UD pully looks like fun
