musta been the gf of the cheby owner
But as a rule, you'll find an aluminum one.
Might just be that you are in the minority with one on your 4x2 or it may be that you are right and RCs use steel ones. I've never been under a RC Ram since my old '98 RCSB 4x4, so I dunno...
Awesome video. I can only imagine how that conversation went...
friend1 "Hey I got a good idea...ure RAM my Chevy..."
friend 2 "Hey that is a really good idea..."
friend1 "Lets make it even better and do it INSIDE the barn??"
friend 3 "You guys are morons can't wait to see this go horribly wrong...I'll video tape it"

That video is CLASSIC!
That's like our old GMC dually. Yeh, it wasn't a dodge. But a 454, Dana 70 HD, can you really go wrong? It weighed 7,000 pounds, our old racecar trailer weighed 8,000 pounds, had a weight sharing hitch, it would go up the Grapevine highway in california without breaking a sweat. The axle tubes were 4", the 2 piece driveshaft weighed more than I could lift, was probably 5" in diameter, looked like a friggin 18 wheeler driveshaft. The slip on the carrier wouldn't come apart, we had to use 2 roller creepers to move the driveshaft in the shop when we serviced the trans. Dad and I together couldn't carry the d@mn thing.
