B) 2003 UP 3.7L & 4.7L the sensor can be found on the passengers side of the resonator (The air hat that mounts directly on top of the engine) on the back. It will be the GREY plug with two wires going into it.

C) 2003 ? UP 5.7L the sensor is located on the FRONT passenger?s side of the resonator (The air hat that mounts directly on top of the engine) it is on the front bottom side. It will be the GREY plug with two wires going into it.

 

If anything there would be a mounting grommet, (for lack of a better term).

That's where the connector is on mine - behind and between the A/C compressor and the alternator. I'm amazed it isn't throwing codes all over the place.

 

Screw the power wire, install a 180* thermostat and do the TMR mod. A WHOLE lot better than doing the power wire...

 

Yeah, I figured it would be throwing codes too. He says there's no sensor in the intake tube?!?! I'll tell him to check under the "air hat". He has a CAI though, so would he still even have the air hat?

Ok, I'm sorry if this is a total newbie question, but what is the TMR mod? I tried doing a search for "tmr mod" and just "tmr" and got nothing. Also, is it just a Hemi thing?

 

Some CAIs reuse the hat, I think. It's been so long, I forget where the IAT was on the hat.

 

The IAT must have fell out and is laying hidden somewhere near by. TMR mod can only be done on the 03 model. It removes torgue management. I'll see if I can find the DIT.
