Just bought a 2007 Quad hemi...
Last night after driving GMC's forever. I have a couple of "please helps" here...
a) the rear driver side seatbelt receiver is broken, would love a oem to replace it - best choice?
b) the doo-haa who owned it last welded re-bar to the frame to "secure" the rear exhaust pipes (about 1.5 feet from the rear)... He bent it around the pipes, but not too well as there is a rattle at about 35 MPH and again at about 45 MPH. I know that the quick answer is to bend them in more to secure it, but is there supposed to be an exhaust pipe bracket to hold these dual pipes? If I do bend them in more to secure them, will I effect anything adversly? (ie - should there be any play in the 'secure system')...
Thank you for your help in advance!

Pipes should be held on with a rubber piece on the mount, cause there needs to be a little flex to it so you don't break a weld. I'd take it to a local exhaust shop and have them fix it. Probably won't cost more than $20-$30 bucks and it'll be fixed.
Ah - we heard a rattle and had it listed as a "rattle" when we were test driving it and it got put down on paper and signed that they need to fix it - so I will let them do it...
I am a camera guy, not a truck guy. I wouldn't know stock pipes from anything else on it. It is very much an upgrade from the 97 GMC Sierra with 206K on it. This boy ROARS where the old one sputtered...
I can tell you that it "rattles" at 37 a little and a lot at 45mph... I had a big laugh when I saw the re-bar welded in... Good to know that if they find a way to weasle out of it that it wont cost me an arm and a leg to resolve.
Thank you for your help with this... I was about to shove a screw clamp around it and the re-bar to stop the rattle. I will resist as I dont want to cause any weld damage.

I doubt it's the exhaust. More than likely the flux capacitor is out of calibration. Ask them to reflash it and that should quiet it down. Most dealerships are cool and will do it for free if you ask.
I will check that out too.. But when I "slap" the tailpipe, it is that rattle and I can see where it is hitting the re-bar. I am going to have to take photos because it is that da%m funny!
When i finally stop, laughing i'll post ha ha ha whew too funny!lol
