Well since the thing is molded specifically for those clips, nothing else will work where the clips go as far as I can see.
So I think your only option would be to take the clips off (or just leave them undone) and get a nylon battery strap with the plastic quick connect buckle for about $5 and use that wrapped around the thing. You should be able to click that connector closed without bodily injury. LMAO!!!

Best thing to do IMO is replace the entire thing with a CAI and be done with it.

Thats not an option as i just bought a k&n drop in haha. Hopefully next is a AT3030.
