I have a 2007 ram with a hemi. I already have a cold air intake, cat back exhaust and a diablo program set on the 87 tune. I would like to add a larger throttle body but Im not sure if this will cause a lean air/fuel problem. Can I check or fix this with my programmer?? I spoke to a shop that does custom tunes for diablo and they said they can write me program but it's $150 and I will have to run premium fuel. Any help would be awsome.

 

your shop is correct . listen to them

 

why the 87 tune might i ask? With a CAI and exhaust you can easily run the 93, I wouldnt go fuggin with the throttle body just yet.

 

I had fastman rework my throttle body and it was a great mod.

 

you do not need a custom tune to run a fastman ported tb you can run it fine on a canned tune s/c or diablo....and fastmans tb's are by far the best out there search fastman.com

 

Thanks for all the great sugestions. Im running the 87 tune mostly for fuel economy and i wanted to stay away from the higher priced fuel as well. What headders and "Y" pipe do you recomend.
