And remember if you are overweight and wreck it, it will not be a good day. Insurance companies frown on that sort of stuff, as do the LEOs.

04 1500 QC 4x4 SB c/w 5.7, 17" rims/265R70-17's and 3.55's, my 24' trailer is 6000 pounds empty, 8000 pounds GVWR, (just a smidge over my recommended max) I have ride-rite airbags, and have no issue towing or supporting with 25 psi in the bags. I don't have much range with my little gas tank though.

My kingpin sits approx 4" ahead of the axle, on a non-sliding Reese 15k unit, I can turn pretty sharp, but I still need to be concerned with cab strikes when backing tight, but haven't had a cab-strike yet.

The site gave no specs other than saying "maximum weight when properly equipped" so I would assume that would mean when you have the max of everything for towing as available stock. 17's, factory tow, 3.92s, etc...

I also know that according to the American Camping Association, 4.56s increases towing capacity by just short of 1000#, although since Dodge does not offer them as a factory option, I cannot confirm it through a Dodge website...
