Default PCM reset/computer flash question

maybe a dumb question but..your pcm is your computer so...when u reset it. I pulled the PCM fuse. Doesnt that erase the latest flash you got from the dealership?Or is it seperate? They just flashed mine and said there was an update...so wont that be gone now?

Just like your home computer, when you unplug it and then turn it back on the operating system is still there....hopefully

Programming, whatever it is, would be considered ROM, while what it learns while you drive is RAM.
