my name is Peter and am new here.
I need your help before I go and spend money.
My truck is 2003 Ram w/Hemi (Laramie) and for switching from 2WD to 4WD I have a little ****.
Last Sunday when I was driving to church with my daughter I hit the brakes very hard to avoid an accident.
After breaking hard I notice a lite: "Service 4x4" and my lite for 2WD (green) started blinking.
I transfer to 4WD and noticed that stop responding and wasn't shifting. My friend told me to reset that, by depressing little pin size button on the left side of the "N". I did that and still my 4WD is not working. The service lite is on.

Anyone can help.
Truck runs fine on 2WD but when I turn the button is not responding to 4WD.
What I need to do?

if the CE light is on pull the codes and see what comes up. try unhooking the battery for a bit and try the 4x4 again..

I have tried that but it doesn't work. I think it needs to be look by a professional.
