I can screech the tires from a dead stop but I have 34" nitto terra's and those things hook up. And I don't like wearing out tires that im trying to have last for a long time. However, on the stock 20" good years, I could light those up whenever.

I have no problem lighting up my stock goodyears, especially after I got my DSP and changed all the shift points. It kicks so much harder now.

Ryan, actually hooking up that is a good thing, but I know what you mean. No doubt you are just on the edge of making things happen. SC, gears or TC will get you going. Good luck..

Note: that bad link came from Hammer and I just copied it. I looked for the DIY and couldn't find it. IDK...

Mine would light up no problem with the stock 275's, but its harder to do with the 305's.

I know that hooking up is a great thing, but sometimes its fun to show out a little bit

I am hoping to get a SC as soon as I get all of my funds settled for college next year!

BTW, my truck does have a set of directional high performance tires on it, so I'm sure that is a huge part to why it won't smoke em' up from a stop...

Mine will turn 'em over from a dead stop. If I do the brake stand thing, it'll go 20-30 feet and do a little tail-wiggle (3.55s and LSD). The only real additive I recommend is SeaFoam, but I do put a can of "Restore" in the motor once a year with an oil change. Supposedly it keeps the compression up.
