So You would just cut the tubes were they meet after coming off the headers before the muffler and the reg $40 y pipe is all I need? I prob sound dumb but for some reason thought there was more to it, what size would I need?

yeah you can get y pipes cheap. i made mine for free outta scrap exhaust pipe we had laying around.
