Got a CEL on my way to work this morning PO442, I think it's a small evap leak. Where should I look first? The exhaust maybe?

Clear your CEL then remove and retighten your gas cap.
If it comes back, consider two of the following.
1) replace gas cap.
2) check the rubber hoses going into your evap canister, underneath the truck near to the gas tank.
Check the hoses for "rubber rot" and cracks etc.
Replace them as necessary. You can buy an OEM replacement kit or go the cheap route as I did. Buy some vacuum hose (hose that doesn't collapse under vacuum) and cut to legnth and fix with new hose clips.

Thanks for the info man I appreciate it, when I read that code on my dash this morning it rang a bell. About 2 years ago I had the same code for my gas cap and I swapped gas caps with a friend and it never came back on. I'm at work now so when I'm out I will give it a shot. Hopefully it's just the cap. Thanks again, I will keep you guys updated..

Took my gas cap off and put it back on tight after work, seemed like it came off a little easier than normal so hopefully that's the problem right there. I'm going to get the code reset and hopefully it won't show back up!
