Default check engine light question

so my engine light came on. i got the codes read and it said evap system problem, which seems pretty common. i took my egr valve off and cleaned it out. light is still on. does anyone have any suggestions?

check your fuel cap.. make sure its seated right

also a good trick is. if the cap is messed. you can stretch a rubber glove over the cap and screw it on

look at your leak detection pump for cracked rubber boots or your fill tube for cracks.

Odds are that you'll find either a split hose or a failed hose clamp, Chrysler uses some real cheap a$$ clamps...

ya i did clear it afterwards, i took it to the a car shop, the mech checked it too said it was the evap, looked at me like i was an idiot, and tried screwing my gas cap on more. he cleared it too and the light came back on so ill have to do some investigating. ill let you guys know what i come up with. appreciate the help
