I have a 2005 Quad Hemi. My question is: What is the depression channel groove in the bottom of the center console for? It runs under the two flip up dividers....any help is appreciated.

 

Power cords. If it's the 'groove' I think you're talking about it gives you acess to the power outlet without draping a cord over the divider. You can place it under the divider and you no longer have to worry about pinching it on anything when closing the console.
