Default Under Carriage Lighting

I know this is a truck forum and its probably not too popular to do neon type lighting under the truck but this is a street truck and I want it to really stand out when the time is right. I have been thinking a lot about doing blue LEDs in the cab and blue neons or maybe LEDs under the truck and in the bed (I know blue is illegal, please no lectures) but I got an idea the other day and wanted to know if I could get some help possibly. I was thinking instead of the normal neon lights, what if I used a black (UV) light under the truck? I know it wouldn't be extremely bright and I can't find a kit but would the white strips on the road react to it and make them glow? Something that is just totally different than anything I have ever seen and it wouldn't really be flashy just kind of a classy light. Any suggestions as to how I could wire it/ protect them under the truck?

Black lights would be different. The good thing is there are a ton of sites including ebay where you can buy this type of gear.

You could use a the gutter guard mesh to create a cage around the light to protect it from rocks and stuff.

I use to have that blue light jazz. Just two light bars on the under side of the dash to light up your feet. I loved it, had them on and mounted for five years on that car until the day my car shut down completely on the highway and my mechanic narrowed it down to the passenger side light bar that blew my ignition coil system. $450 bucks later I was regretting those lights. As for the under carriage lights my buddy had a set that he bought came w/ a warranty. In two years he used that warranty 4 times so I recomend if you go for it, look for a set that comes w/ a warranty it will prol save you money in the long run.

How would they lights have caused your ignition coil system to go bad?
