Default 4WD vs. 2WD frame difference ?

Hey guys

I am trying to swap a whole drive-train assembly from my totaled 03 RAM 1500 (4WD) into a stripped shell that I bought on the auction (2WD). Is there a difference between frames on those two vehicles? They are both Quad cabs and same length, just 2WD vs 4Wd difference...

Thanks for any help.

I'd imagine just any bracketry to do with the front axle. There is also another transmission brace and anything that the transfer case bolts to. I'd look through a service manual for anything that says *for 4wd only*, that would give you a good start

Yeah, frames were the same but mounting brackets in the front were differently located. Too much cutting and welding so I just swapped cabs and interior... Two days of work and amazingly everything works fine! Cant's wait to go out and drive it because I had it sitting in my yard for over 4 years!
