bulbs not working due to TIPM issues are a bit different from what this thread is about. most guys like to reset the PCM to clear CEL/MIL and erase DTC or they do it to make the PCM relearn the driving habits.

In another thread, it says to make sure you reset the ECM after any TB or EGR cleaning or replacement...i cleaned the TB like a month ago and everything worked perfectly fine, but this morning (10 degree weather) my ETC blinked and the pickup went into limp mode...could this be due to not rebooting the system, and if so how do i do this?
2004 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi
Thanks

I tried to reboot mine 06 1500 5.7 and i had the same problem as in the start of this post, where i only heard one chime and it was the air bag. I pulled #31.

Try waiting till the air bag chimes before you turn the key to START
