I thought I would add them to mine before, when I bought my new bumper it had the brackets with it, but I had to use my original ones to make it work. still thinking about doing a little fab work.
the brackets are the only thing that are different they bolt to the frame the same way the 1/2 ton has three holes in front to mount the tow hook bar the 3/4 ton bracket has four holes for mounting the tow hooks thats the only difference
The 2002 1500's had no tow hook option! All you can do is custom fabricate something! I plan on putting a winch behind the front bumper with the fairlead mounted in the slot. then I am also gonna mount the 2500/3500 tow hooks on either side of that! It will all be totally custom, but will be worth it in the end!

This man is right. My truck is an 02. The 02 trucks use 3 bolts per side to mount the hooks. The 02 has 4 holes that dont match up. From what I understand the 2500 hooks use 4 bolts and match up to the holes. Thats what I plan to go with using a custom bar to go between the two so spread the load on both rails for and sideways pulls.
Yep, had to drill holes in Pyro's front frame rail to mount the Warn Trans4mer grill guard he bought off of 'Weed...
Supposed to mount in the stock tow hook holes on an '02 up... Yeah Right!!!
An hour and three of my drill bits later we had 'em drilled out...
