alarm reset w no key fob
Hey guys, Im new to this forums hoping u guys can help. My father-in-law has a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Daytona w the Hemi. Hes not internet savy so im on here lol. He bought the truck wrecked to rebuild and does not have the key fob. Some how hes set off the alarm. Know he cant get it to go off and the truck wont start. Hes tryed disconnecting the battery and when he reconnects it it just starts up again.
Is there a way to reset the alarm or turn it off with out paying the dealer a zillion bucks to fix it. Thanks for any helps guys

take the horn relay out will stop the annoying noise.
but your light will still probably flash.
you will need to go to the dealer and buy a "grey key" or FOBIK and have it programmed into the WCM. (wireless control module)
they can be pricey.
does he have a programmed key?
if you lock the door with the FOBIK and the next time you get in the vehicle it will recognize you didnt use the FOBIK to unlock so it sets off the alarm.
You can unlock the door with the key and stick it in the ignition and start the vehicle for the alarm to stop.
