Well, hooked up a mechanical guage and it reads a constant 15-16 PSI at idle on a warm engine . Replaced the sending unit already so only thing I can think is guage.... My buddy said thsi is within acceptable range for my truck so he said just install a manual guage inside and forget about the check guage light and instrument guage oil pressure. Sounds reasonable . Is this correct that 16 PSI at idle is acceptable . I read it was for an '06 .then 10 more PSI for each 1000rpm. man , I just feel nervous driving with that gauge bouncing around . Guess I could find a junker and swap them guage clusters out eventually. Any input much appreciated.
