Default TB Spacer

Hey Guys,
So im gonna put on the hughes kit in the next few weeks when I get some time. I was thinking about putting on a throttle body spacer on my 5.9L, I was just wondering if I would notice any change or if its not worth the 150 bucks? I just figured since it was gonna be apart it would be the best time to do it. I have never had a throttle body spacer and was am looking for some oppinions or experiences.

Negative. Its a waste of money, IMO.. It just gives it that whistle at part throttle. I never saw improvement in mpg or performance. Not on my 4.7L at least.. Heard they only really work on carbs.

Yep, Was the first lesson, I learned as far as the 5.7 goes. Not sure what mods are best for the 5.9 but for that amount of money I would put it towards a Ported Throttle Body. BTW very nice Truck looks real good with the later model Rims.

tb spacers are good on what they were designed for carb and tbi. for what we have they are nothing but a waste of money. they work on carb and tbi by alowing the fuel air mixture to atomiz more before going in to the combustion chamber.
