EfX steel roll pan - 2 ?'s

1) what type of screws are recommended for bolting it on to my truck? 6 across the top and 1 on each side is feasible?

2) the free license plate housing it came with - can that bulb be replaced with an lED bulb? All I see is a bulb and a big glob of glue/hot glue. What can be used instead of that housing so I can put an LED bulb in there?
