Default Question about carrier bearing while lifting truck

I am looking at purchasing a 4" Rancho lift kit and there is a tech note attached:

"Carrier bearing spacer P/N RS6608 is required on vehicles equipped with rear drive shaft carrier bearing. Vehicle may exhibit minimal driveline vibration in 4WD."

How do I know if my truck needs this spacer??? Any help would be appreciated.
