I last my right fog lite to a rock, any one know if you can get a protective covers for the 3rd gen rams?

 

you could do something like a plastic clear stick ons like the ones they make for your phone, but a rock would still cause a crack.
A few guys have had problems with rocks. They are just large and low so they are prone to cracks/chips.
I'd check ebay for a replacement. Stock OEM one's are genuine Hella.

 

I was surprised to find the oem fog lights are glass, on the + side the bulb still works until it gets wet, I was on gravel road near Onion Lake SK ( on the resservation cause I get lost ) near lloydminister SK ... on my way to bright sand lake SK ...

I have seen 3rd gen Rams with covers, never thought I would break fog lamps...

 

I called courtasy chrysler in Calgary Alberta for a replacement fog lite....... Are you ready fior this ????? $194.00 CDN before tax !!!! for one bulb, one fog lite I poked arround on Ebay and found two mopar fog lites with the bulbs, bezals and a the headlite switch for (drum roll ) 145.00 cdn .... screw you for being a canadain tax,. shipping, US. postage is extra, bought from a dodge dealer in the States...

as for a 2nd question, the grills in the bumper for the dodge trucks that do not have fog lites, any chance they would work as fog lite gaurds ?????
