Default Replacing Trans pressure line

I have an 08 Ram 1500 with the 5.7, a few months ago I tee'd the output pressure line on the trans and installed a temp quage. Anyways, I don't think the temps are acurate and I think I'm getting more of the torque converter reading than the actual internal trans temp, so I decided to go a different route and replace the stock line.

My actual question out of all of this is: The pressure line itself, the connectors, do they just pop out? or is there a special tool needed to replace this line?

You need fuel/AC disconnect tools. You can get them at most auto parts stores for around $10 I think and you need the 3/8" connector. You slide in on the line, slide it into the coupler to release it and then pull it apart

Are there any considerations when changing the line. I.E.....bleeding the line? or can I just put it in, add the fluid I lost and go for it?

yep, just change the line and fire the engine up. The front trans pump will fill the line back up in no time at all.
