Default Best cai??

Im getting real close to buying a cold air intake for my dodge and there are so many diff kinds out there and i just dont which one is the best? I mean they have their black plastic tubes, polished alluminum tubes, diff brands, PFIK's and are they really worth spending the extra ~300$? Ive read that on average they add 1-2mpg if you dont beat on it and anywhere up to 15-20hp

This unit looks basically the same as my 77-K&N. If nothing else stick a real K&N filter on it and you'd still be a head of the game.

Looks like they give a straight connector so i doubt there is any size difference. Is that a T/B spacer I see that they give wth? If so, don't waste your time unbolting the T/B t install it...Waste. even for free.

I'd say pick up an S&B or an airaid filter over a K&N. Both are superior IMO. Just use what they give so you can phsyically measure the opening and size to order a correct replaceable filter.
