Ok Thanks! I will look on there for some that are not painted. Should I replace the pipe that joins them as well? Maybe the cat converter to or are stock cats good to go? What is headers going to do for MPG? Thanks

Yep, if you get painted headers, you'll be re-buying headers in two years, topps.

For the most performance and MPG gains, the longer the tubes the better but you may have inspection passing issues if you are in an inspection state.

Five years now with my headers, custom ceramic coated at a coatings shop, and they still look about like they did the day I put them on. I check and re-torque the bolts about twice a year.

If you are asking about "the pipe that joins them" then you do not have TRUE dual as your signature states...

Thanks for the information!

Ok my bad. The "pipes" that join them and yes I do have true duals. So how bout it? Should I replace those pipes and the cats? Also I have places to go that will just put me a sticker on. I never have to worry about inspections. What kind of gains could I see?

Replace everything. Almost all of the stock piping is restrictive. And the painted ones won't rust that fast, I have them and there isn't any rust on them yet.....

Okay Thanks. How are these magnaflow cat converters? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-99336HM/

Does that have a place for the O2 sensor or do I need a pipe that has a place for it like it is now?

Short or Long headers?

You need converters with a 3" slip fit opening to fit the collectors on those headers. This is the cat I used with my pacesetters. I got this one with the extra bung for my wideband kit.
