Default Tpms

Before you guys bash me I did a search and some reading to see if I could find something like my problem. All my sensors worked fine till I took it to get new tires. I had a flat tire thru the sidewall so that meant new tire. I decided to get two new rear tires because of the amount of wear on the tires and thought they might be different enough to affect the tpms. Well they broke one of the valve stems so I had to get a new sensor for that wheel. I got the same size tire as called for on the door post but do you guys think that being I have the factory Goodyears on the front and new firestones on the back there is enough difference from each brand of tire and the sensors can't reset? I'm just guessing here, maybe the a-holes did something to the other sensor and didn't say anything.

They said to drive it and the computer would relearn or something. I don't know if they took anything to each tire. I drove it over 10 minutes above 15mph and the light is still on. Everything was fine before the tire change and the tpms worked like it should.

With my Grand Cherokee, you have to take a small magnetic donut to each tire and lay it on the valve stem, utilizing the "train" feature on the overhead computer.
driving around does NOTHING...

Yes, as hammer said, they have to be trained or programmed. My dads chevy has them and they are the same setup procedures
